We're looking for a proactive Freight Forwarding professional who can own the journey from booking to delivery. The successful applicant will have strong customs knowledge and a customerfirst mindset. You'll be covering Land, Air and Ocean freight to deliver a highquality, efficient service.

 

 In this role, you'll work with our experienced and supportive export operations team providing an efficient freightforwarding service to the British Engines Group and beyond. Excellent customer service is our creed and you will help Stadium Export Services sustain performance and grow our export services business.

 

What you'll be doing

 

  • Handling and directing client and general enquiries including by phone, email and messaging services.
  • Negotiating rates with hauliers, shipping lines, airlines, suppliers and agents.
  • Providing timely, accurate quotations for all modes of transport.
  • Completing and processing road, air and sea freight shipments.
  • Making bookings with lines, airlines and hauliers.
  • Completing customs declarations (CDS) and export documentation.
  • Assisting colleagues across the department as required including digital logging and recording of data.
  • Collaborating with the operational team and wider business.

 

Who we're looking for

 

We are seeking an experienced freight forwarder to join Stadium Export Services. The ideal candidate will have meaningful experience in a similar role and demonstrate confidence when liaising with multiple stakeholders.

 

You should possess fluency in core freight documentation, including HAWB, MAWB, EUR1, ATR, Certificates of Origin, and CMR, along with a strong understanding of Incoterms 2020 and their commercial implications. Familiarity with tariff classification, rules of origin, and customs valuation is essential.

 

This role requires excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage a busy, varied workload while maintaining clear and professional communication both in writing and over the phone. We value individuals who take pride in delivering a high standard of service and are comfortable upselling and cross-selling our services to new and existing customers. Strong IT capabilities, including proficiency in Microsoft Office, are required, as well as the ability to work independently or collaboratively within a team. Above all, a strong work ethic and an honest, open approach are core requirements.

 

In addition to these essentials, the following would be advantageous: hazardous awareness or Dangerous Goods training (ADR/IMDG/IATA), BIFA or UK customs training, and familiarity with manufacturing environments.
