We are looking for a QHSE Coordinating Technician to support the QHSE Manager and QHSE Engineers with the coordination of Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental activities across the business. The role ensures effective control of goodsin inspection, assembly, and packing areas, maintaining compliance with QHSE requirements. It provides technical support, facilitates QHSE processes, ensures accurate documentation, supports Inspectors, apprentices, and trainees by coordinating workloads, providing guidance, and helping ensure that quality standards, KPI requirements, and customer specifications are met.
What you'll be doing
- Coordinating and supporting daily activities of the QC function to ensure operational targets are achieved
- Oversee goodsin inspection coordination and ensure effective product/material control
- Oversee assembly and packing inspections, ensuring compliance with QHSE requirements and customer specifications
- Ensure accurate evaluation and inspection of materials, processes, work in progress, or finished goods
- Identify quality issues and support containment and corrective actions
- Ensure QC measurements, inspections, and checks are recorded accurately
- Support decisionmaking on acceptable and unacceptable quality standards
- Collaborate with Production, Engineering, and other departments
- Support training and development of Inspectors, apprentices, and trainees
- Promote a safe working culture with awareness of QHSE requirements
- Support business improvement initiatives such as Kaizen and 5S enhancement
- To carry out any other duties not listed above as may reasonably be expected
Who we're looking for
To apply, we are looking for someone who has experience supporting Quality, HSE, or Manufacturing functions in an engineering or production environment, a good understanding of QHSE processes and compliance requirements, the ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications and technical documentation. It is essential you have technical measurement skills, including the use of precision measurement tools and equipment and it would be advantageous if you have management/supervisory experience.
