Who we're looking for
To apply, you’ll have experience in an engineering, certification or technical support role, including producing technical drawings and documentation and working to quality assurance systems and procedures. Experience in a regulated or standards-driven environment, or supporting product certification or approvals, would be beneficial.
A good standard of general education is required. A qualification in Engineering or a related technical discipline is desirable. You’ll be able to produce and modify technical drawings using CAD software, manage technical documentation and data, and understand how to work within engineering standards and constraints. The ability to conduct and document product testing is important. Experience with 3D CAD modelling, bills of materials, relevant standards and liaison with certification bodies would be an advantage.
You’ll be self-motivated and well organised, with strong attention to detail, clear communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement. The ability to work independently and collaboratively, alongside a commitment to quality, health, safety and environmental responsibilities, is essential.
This is a full-time, permanent position working day shift. To support an improved work-life balance, CMP operates a 9-day fortnight (9/10) working pattern. This allows employees to work compressed hours and, as a result, enjoy every other Friday off.
