Driver

This is an internal vacancy for employees within CMP only.

We are looking for a Driver to join our team in Cramlington to ensure the safe and efficient collection of products from manufacturing, packing these into the delivery vehicle then safely delivering to Assembly to ensure smooth business operations.

What you'll be doing

• Collecting products and transport between units
• Loading and unload product on the van
• Ensure products are transported safely
• Move stock around either by hand, using lifting equipment or a forklift truck
• Keep all paperwork updated
• Use IFS to transact parts
• Collect or deliver goods to customers and or suppliers
• Maintain good communications with the team and other departments
• To carry out any other duties not listed above as may reasonably be expected

Who we're looking for

To apply, we are looking for someone who has valid driving licence, have experience within a similar role and a forklift truck licence.

This position will be on a full time, permanent basis. To provide its employees with an improvement in work/life balance, CMP operates a 9-day fortnight (9/10) where staff employees have the opportunity to work compressed working hours and as a result have every other Friday as a day off.

The hours are a weekly rotation of:

Week 1 – Monday to Friday 6am to 2pm

Week 2 – Monday to Wednesday 2pm to 12am, Thursday 2pm to 11.30pm Friday off
